Jane awoke startled by the sound of steady creeks that roamed the hallway passed her door. Jane calmly laid in her bed scheming a plan to attack. She ran through her memory wondering who was out there; she knew her parents were fast asleep, and her brother was at a friends house. Rapidly, she sat up on her bed, turned the lamp on, and searched for her glasses. However, Jane did not find them, she then grabbed the bat next to her nightstand. She slowly began to twist the doorknob, took a step out and the dog was wearing glasses.
